JOY LYN’S CANDIES WINS TOP HONOR AT THE JUNE 2016 RETAIL CONFECTIONERS CONVENTION INDIANAPOLIS

Joy Lyn’s Candies won the “Best Packaging Award” at the June 2, 2016 Retail Confectioners Convention held in Indianapolis.  In 2009, Joy Lyn’s Candies collaborated with Sierra Nevada Brewery and made Beer Peanut Brittle using Sierra Nevada’s Pale Ale Beer.  The confection quickly became a favorite and Joy Lyn’s later added 2 more products in addition to the Beer Brittle…Jalapeno Brittle made with fresh jalapenos cooked into each batch and Chocolate Crunch, which is Beer Brittle bits crunched up and mixed with delicious creamy milk chocolate and hand cut into bit size pieces.  The 3 products underwent new packaging design in order to coordinate the look and highlight Sierra Nevada logo as well as the Joy Lyn’s logo on the packaging.  The new coordinating packaging look took top honors and customers must agree because sales of the 3 products continues to grow.
